Another Spam Poster...

Here is a mock up poster:

This Spam poster is inspired by Andy Warhol's Soup Tin artwork. What I was planning to do with this particular poster was have all the different types of Spam in each square, mimicking Warhol's different soup flavours. (this is only a mock up)

The flavours I was thinking about including were:
Hot & Spicy
With Cheese
Garlic
Lite
Bacon
Turkey
Less Fat
Hickory Smoked
Single Classic
And then have the original Spam tin in the last square.

What I think will work well with this poster is that each of the different cans have a variety of colours, and that will make the poster look appealing.

As you can see, the cans sport all sorst of colours that with grab the audience's attention.

The poster is also designed to be a little more modernised in comparison to Warhol's poster. The poster I am designing is suppossed to be loosely based on it.

The only problem I can see with this poster is that if it looks to modernised people may not realise that it's a play on Andy Warhol's Soup Tin artwork. I might have to work on this poster a little to try and make it more recognisable. The only reason I'm hoping to modernise it is to appeal to a young audience as well.

Well, we've got...

The Monty Python inspired poster. The entire set of text, save for the website and "Monty Python" at the bottom, is a quote spoken by the waitress near the beginning when 'she' is reading out the menu.

I'm hoping that older audiences with understand this, as well as slightly younder audiences since Monty Python is very well known.

I Don't Like Spam!

Monty Python is well know by young and old. This short spam sketch gave me an idea to create a poster sporting quotes from this sketch.

SPAM Poster Campaign idea

This mock-up for a Spam poster is playing on the idea of internet spam. One of Spam's previous poster campaigns sported the slogan "There is only one REAL Spam". I decided to intergrate the two together.

I thought about how the younger generation are aware of internet spam, and perhaps not so much the food Spam. This poster is designed to mock internet spam and grab the younger audience's attention with a constant stream of the word "Spam" printed across the page.
